About the Artist

A native Texan, Judy left the hill country of Texas for central North Carolina in 2004.

She and her husband Tom, an Episcopal priest, reside in Lexington along with their

two rowdy dogs, Sam Houston and Dr. Pepper. Judy spends her non-studio time

digging in the garden trying to figure out what will grow in NC that didn’t grow

in Texas. An avid reader, she is slowly working her way through the mystery section

of the local library. Judy and Tom have four grown children and five exceptionally

fabulous grandchildren.

Judy teaches polymer clay workshops and seminars for adults and children. She is also an inspirational speaker for church groups and retreats. If you would like to know more about her workshops or to check on the availability of a specific date, please send an e-mail to jandtking@lexcominc.net.
